We tend to confuse empathy with sympathy, and so, fail to develop our EQ. No one wants to admit this though - and so we go around acting with low EQ, low empathy, and therefore, low leadership capability, because leadership is about people, which requires that ability to understand them. Luckily, there's something you can do about it.
